Paraffin Foot Treatment
A luxurious warm-paraffin spa ritual for tired feet. Gentle heat penetrates deeply to soften skin, ease fatigue, and improve circulation — leaving your feet silky-smooth and completely revived.
The Paraffin Foot Treatment is a nurturing procedure where warm paraffin wax is applied directly to the skin, creating a gentle sauna-like effect that opens the pores and prepares the skin for deep hydration. The steady warmth relaxes the muscles of the feet and lower legs, while the dense texture of the wax locks in moisture, leaving the skin visibly softer by the end of the session.
The session runs for 30 minutes. It begins with cleansing and preparing the feet, followed by several successive layers of warm paraffin applied to form a protective "glove." While the paraffin works, the feet are wrapped to retain the heat, and at the end the layer is gently removed, revealing skin that feels hydrated and smooth to the touch. At BodyBar Studio, in the Botanica sector of Chișinău, the treatment costs 450 lei.
It's a good fit for anyone who spends long hours on their feet or in uncomfortable shoes, for those who often feel tired or tense feet by the end of the day, and equally for anyone who simply wants a quiet moment of care. The combination of warmth and hydration makes it a pleasant ritual year-round — in summer, when feet are exposed in sandals, and in winter, when skin tends to dry out more easily.
After the session, the skin of the feet stays soft, hydrated and visibly cared for, and the sense of heaviness or fatigue eases noticeably. The relaxing effect typically lasts for several hours after the treatment, and the skin keeps its smooth, well-groomed feel for a few days.
